Ukrainian drones target Penza plant supporting Russia’s military

In the early hours of Thursday, drones attacked the Russian city of Penza, targeting local industrial facilities, according to local media reports.
The Penza Oblast governor reported a drone strike on an industrial enterprise, stating there were no casualties or significant destruction, though a fire broke out at the site.
Authorities temporarily restricted mobile internet in the region and urged residents not to share photos or videos of the attack’s aftermath. Despite this, some footage circulated on social media.
The Astra news outlet, citing videos from locals, reported that drones struck the V.A. Revunov EVT plant, which produces computing equipment for Russia’s Defense Ministry, among other products. Adjacent to it is JSC Radiozavod, described as Russia’s only defense plant manufacturing control points for air defense operations.
