Drones target Russian refinery, railway, military unit
Overnight, multiple Russian regions were targeted by drone attacks, with Russia’s Defense Ministry claiming 82 drones were shot down.
In Volgograd Oblast, Governor Andrey Bocharov reported a fire at a railway station in Surovikino caused by the attack.
At the Maxim Gorky station, sappers are clearing debris from a reportedly downed drone.
In Krasnodar Krai, the Telegram channel SHOT reported a powerful explosion around 7 a.m. near the Afipsky oil refinery, which ignited a fire.
The Telegram channel Astra also reported that a military unit in Slavyansk-na-Kubani caught fire, a claim confirmed by the local emergency service.
Russia’s Defense Ministry stated that drones were also intercepted over Kursk, Belgorod, and Oryol oblasts, as well as Crimea and the Black and Azov seas.
