Strike on Ryazan refinery: Hit confirmed on oil processing unit — Ukrainian General Staff

Ukrainian forces confirmed a strike on the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil processing unit at Russia’s Ryazan Oil Refinery, with an estimated annual capacity of 6 million tons, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Friday.
The General Staff stated that the Ryazan refinery, with a total design capacity of 17.1 million tons per year, is among Russia’s top four oil refineries. It produces various grades of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, liquefied gases, and other petroleum products, and supports Russia’s occupation forces.
Overnight into Friday, Ukrainian forces targeted the Ryazan refinery. The governor of Russia’s Ryazan Oblast claimed that eight drones were shot down, with debris falling on an industrial facility.
That morning, Commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces Robert (Magyar) Brovdi confirmed strikes on oil refineries in Ryazan and temporarily occupied Luhansk.
The General Staff noted that SBU units successfully attacked an engineering ammunition and drone depot in Luhansk, causing secondary explosions and a subsequent fire.
Additionally, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces struck the position of two S-400 Triumph air defense divisions in Russia’s Kaluga Oblast, with preliminary reports confirming hits on a command-and-control vehicle and a control post.
