Ukraine's intelligence and border guards strike oil terminal and refinery in Tuapse

Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, in coordination with the State Border Guard Service, attacked the Tuapse seaport oil terminal and Tuapse oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai overnight into Wednesday, according to hromadske’s military intelligence source.
The strike hit the AVT-12 primary oil processing unit at the refinery, as well as transport pipelines and loading equipment at the seaport oil terminal.

Local authorities earlier said a fire broke out at a port pier and was extinguished. A blaze at the plant covering 300 square meters was also put out.
The Tuapse refinery has been targeted by drones multiple times this year, even halting refining and production twice.
Before this attack, the Tuapse refinery could process about 12 million tons of oil annually, significantly bolstering Russia's military-industrial complex.
The plant produces naphtha, fuel oil, vacuum gas oil and high-sulfur diesel fuel, and supplies fuel.
