Russian attacks kill 2, wound 6 in Donetsk Oblast on March 12

Russian forces shelled Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast 1,771 times on Thursday, killing two civilians and wounding six others, according to the Donetsk regional police and State Emergency Service.
The attacks targeted 10 settlements: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Mykolaivka and Slovyansk, as well as the villages of Rayhorodok, Shabelkivka, Mayaky, and Tetianivka.
In Kostiantynivka, artillery fire killed one civilian and damaged a private home. Another civilian was killed in Lyman.
Overnight, Russian troops struck the suburbs of Druzhkivka with four KAB-250 guided bombs and three FPV drones, injuring six civilians in total.
One of the wounded was trapped under the rubble of a residential building; rescuers freed her and transported her to a medical facility.
According to the regional administration, Russian forces have killed 4,083 civilians in Donetsk Oblast since the start of the full-scale invasion and wounded another 9,025. These figures do not include casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
