Ukrainain forces hit Russian missile boat and minesweeper at Caspian Sea base
Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a Russian missile boat and a minesweeper at the Kaspiysk naval base overnight into Friday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff reported.
The military also confirmed the following strikes:
- Ammunition depots near Yepyfanivka and Rovenky in occupied Luhansk Oblast;
- A logistics supply depot in Raihorodka, occupied Luhansk Oblast, and an enemy electronic warfare depot in Dmytrivka, occupied Donetsk Oblast;
- An MR-232 "Bussol-S" radar station and an electro-optical module at an FSB coastal technical intelligence post in occupied Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast;
- A fuel and lubricant depot in occupied Mariupol.
The General Staff also confirmed the overnight strike on the Ryazan oil refinery in Ryazan, Russia, where a large-scale fire was recorded on the facility's grounds.
The Ryazan refinery is considered one of Russia's largest oil processing plants, with a refining capacity of approximately 17 million metric tons of crude oil per year. The facility produces gasoline, diesel and jet fuel used to supply Russian invasion forces.
