One in three Kyiv educational institutions has been hit during Russia's war

One in three educational institutions in Kyiv has been damaged by Russian attacks since the start of the war, according to Olena Fidanyan, head of the city's Education and Science Department.
A total of 334 schools in the Ukrainian capital have been damaged, Fidanyan told hromadske.
“One in three educational institutions in Kyiv has been hit as a result of attacks,” she said. “One in four of those that were damaged has been hit between two and eight times.”
Fidanyan said schools and kindergartens have established procedures for responding to Russian attacks, but those procedures now have to be adjusted daily as the frequency of strikes changes.
The figures were released after a Russian drone struck a school in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district on Wednesday. More than 100 students and about 60 staff members were inside the school's shelter at the time, and no injuries were reported.
