SBU drones strike Lukoil plant and Transneft hub in Perm, 1,500 km from Ukrainian border

Ukraine's Security Service’s Alpha Special Operations Center struck the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez refinery and a key Transneft’s Perm Linear Pipeline Dispatch Station for the third time, igniting a primary oil processing unit and damaging a storage tank overnight, the SBU reported.
Both facilities are located more than 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
The targeted refinery is one of the largest in Russia, supplying fuel to both the civilian sector and the Russian military.
The Perm pipeline station, owned by Transneft, is a strategic hub in Russia's main oil transportation network, distributing crude oil in four directions — including to the Perm refinery itself.
According to the SBU, the drone strikes ignited one of the refinery's atmospheric vacuum distillation (AVT) units — a key component of primary oil processing. A storage tank at the pipeline station was also hit.
Perm Krai Governor Dmitry Makhonin confirmed the strike on industrial sites in the region. No casualties were reported.
Earlier, Makhonin also confirmed a separate drone strike on "one of the industrial facilities". Footage circulating online indicated the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez refinery and the Perm pipeline station were likely among the targets. One drone was also reported to have struck the roof of a residential building.
Strikes on energy facilities in Perm Krai were also reported overnight into April 29 and 30.
