Security Service of Ukraine drones struck the Temp oil depot in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia, early on Wednesday, according to hromadske’s SBU source.

The strike was carried out by long-range drones from the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Center.

Rybinsk is a major transit and logistics hub, and the Temp oil depot itself is a key link in storing and distributing petroleum products in Russia's northeast region.

The depot is part of the Rosrezerv system and designed to store large fuel volumes.

"The SBU continues with surgical precision to cut Russian petroleum supply chains both abroad and to troops attacking Ukraine. This systematic work will continue in 2026," an informed SBU source said.

Videos circulating online show a massive fire erupting at the site after the SBU drone hits.

In addition, overnight into Wednesday, Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, together with the State Border Guard Service, attacked the Tuapse seaport oil terminal and Tuapse oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.
