Ukraine and Latvia have signed a bilateral security agreement, according to which Latvia has pledged to provide annual assistance and support to Ukraine during its accession to the EU and NATO, announced President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Since March 2022, 54 cases of executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war by the Russian troops have been reported, Yuriy Belousov, head of the Department of the Prosecutor General's Office for Combating Crimes Committed in the Context of Armed Conflict, told public broadcaster Suspilne.
