Russian forces attacked Poltava Oblast overnight into Thursday, temporarily cutting power to several rail sections in the region, Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

Ukraine's Defense Intelligence conducted a special operation in the Shchitovoy area near the Russian city of Vladivostok, targeting a military unit whose soldiers executed Ukrainian prisoners, an informed intelligence source told hromadske.

Russian authorities reported a drone attack on the Kuteinikovo railway station in Rostov Oblast, causing train delays, according to Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar and Russian Railways.

In the early hours of Wednesday, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using air- and sea-launched cruise missiles and strike drones, totaling 526 targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
